About SCEA

SCEA represent members from Europe and related countries. Please see under members which organisations SCEA represent. The committee is chaired by Mr. Andrej Kocbek. 

Andrej Kocbek, was born in Maribor – Slovenia in 1950 and after he was employed in the Territorial Defense, he performed various command duties at the battalion and division levels. In the Slovenian Army, he served as the Director of the Center for Military Schools, defense attaché, military representative in international defense organizations, advisor to the Chief of General Staff. In the war for independent and sovereign Slovenia in 1991, he was the project unit’s commander for training recruits for the new Slovenian army.

 

He received state and military awards for his outstanding services in defending the freedom and sovereignty of the Republic of Slovenia and his participation in developing the defense forces. As a proud war veteran, he performs the duties of coordinator for international cooperation in the Union of veterans of the war for Slovenia.
